Really enjoyed joining another AngelHive investor panel. Thanks again to all the founders for putting themselves out there. Pitching live is never easy, and I hope some of the feedback and experience shared by the panel helps as you continue building your businesses and raising capital. What I particularly like about the AngelHive format is the balance between candid, constructive feedback and creating genuine opportunities for investors to continue the conversation. I’ve already booked follow-ups with Steez and XPharms Xchange, and I’m looking forward to those. It’s also great to see AngelHive expanding to two pitch sessions each week, giving founders and investors more opportunities to connect. I’ll certainly be back on future panels. If you’re a founder raising capital, I’d encourage you to apply. Likewise get onboard if you’re an investor looking to meet ambitious early stage teams.

Last week, Hugup won AngelHive's #23 HealthTech Pitch Night. I’ve been fundraising for over two months now. On and off. A unique opportunity to present our startup to investors in a very niched area, in which it is not so easy to find investors and mentors in generalist acceleration programs.

Commercially empathetic and a good arena for start ups

In all honesty it was my first pitch, til now we've been focused on product development, marketing material and developing key early-stage relationships. It felt like a turning point for the project to go in front of a panel of investors and put to the test our ability to explain a complex product succinctly, while holding the interest of the listeners. The challenge was very valuable to us.
